Michael Jackson had lethal levels of Propofol in his system when he died, this according to a search warrant affidavit that was unsealed in Houston today and obtained by the L.A. Times.According to the report, Dr. Conrad Murray told cops he had been treating Jackson for 6 weeks for insomnia -- giving him 50 milligrams of Propofol every night through an IV.

Murray told cops he feared Jackson was getting addicted so he reduced the dosage to 25 mg.

The morning Jackson died, Dr. Murray gave Jackson valium at 1:30 AM, according to the report. Murray said the valium didn't work so he gave the singer an IV injection of lorazepam -- an anti-anxiety drug. Murray told cops Jackson was still awake, so he then gave him midazolam -- a sedative.

According to the report, Murray gave Jackson more drugs. He says at 10:40 AM, he administered 25 mg of Propofol. Dr. Murray told cops Jackson repeatedly demanded the drug.

As we first reported, cops found 8 bottles of Propofol in Jackson's house after he died, but they do not know where it was purchased.

According to the report, cops also found Valium, Tamsulosin, Lorazepam, Temazepam, Clonazepam, Trazodone and Tizanidine, along with the Propofol.

According to the report, the various drugs were prescribed by Dr. Murray, Dr. Arnold Klein and Dr. Allan Metzger.

Dr. Murray reportedly told cops after administering Propofol he left the room to call his Houston medical office and family members. When he returned, he says, Jackson wasn't breathing.

Dr. Murray told cops other docs had administered Propofol to Jackson, including Las Vegas Dr. David Adams. Dr. Murray said he was at a cosmetologist's office where Dr. Adams gave Jackson Propofol.

Interestingly, according to the warrant, Dr. Murray refused to sign the death certificate at the UCLA Medical Center.

ma poi ieri abbiamo visto che quel referto è del 23 luglio, questi ora se so decisi che è omicidio colposo?? Dopo un mese?

I soccorsi chiamati un'ora e mezza dopo il collasso
New York, 25 ago. - E' l'una e trenta del mattino del 25 giugno. Michael Jackson ha finito da poche ore le ultime prove per lo show che dovrà mettere in scena a Londra e non riesce a dormire, chiama il suo medico personale nella stanza accanto e chiede, anzi implora, una dose di "latte", come Jackson chiama il Propofol, l'anestetico che usa da settimane per riuscire a prendere sonno. Secondo il resoconto dell'ultima notte rilasciato agli inquirenti dallo stesso medico, Conrad Murray, nelle sue ultime ore il Re del Pop ha assunto ben quattro sedativi in meno di dodici ore. Un mix letale che renderà inutile qualunque tentativo di rianimazione. In piena notte Murray spiega a Jackson che non è il caso di prendere il Propofol (un anestetico usato prima delle operazioni chirurgiche) perché ne sta diventando dipendente e gli somministra allora del Valium. "Jacko" non riesce comunque a chiudere occhio e poco dopo le due chiede nuovamente quel "latte", che usa da oramai sei settimane per curare l'insonnia. Murray si rifiuta e gli fa un'altra iniezione di valium. Nell'arco di sei ore, prima dell'iniezione mortale di Propofol, il corpo di Jackson assume cinque dosi diverse di tre differenti sedativi: valium, lorazepam e midazolam. Le punture avvengono all'1.30, poi alle 2.00 e ancora alle 3.00, alle 5.00 e alle 7.30. Nulla da fare, il cantante è oramai abituato al più potente Propofol e continua a chiederne un po' pur di riuscire a riposare. Per sei ore Murray si rifiuta e poi, alle 10.40 del mattino, cede e gli inietta 25 milligrammi di Propofol diluiti con un altro medicinale e attende 10 minuti che Jackson si addormenti. I soccorsi però non saranno chiamati per un'ora e mezza, durante la quale, sempre secondo i documenti rilasciati dalle autorità americane, il medico avrebbe compiuto tre telefonate per un totale di 47 minuti al telefono. La telefonata al pronto soccorso viene effettuata solo alle 12.21, ora di Los Angeles. Non solo, il medico della star avrebbe omesso dire ai paramedici giunti nella villa che aveva somministrato quell'ultimo medicinale. Poi l'arrivo dell'ambulanza e il decesso nel vicino ospedale Ucla. Gli inquirenti non hanno ancora capito come Murray, o Jackson, siano riusciti a procurarsi il Propofol, usato comunemente nelle sale operatorie. Il legame tra i due era però molto stretto, tanto che Jackson riuscì ad imporre una clausola all'Aeg, la società che aveva organizzato i 50 concerti londinesi, di assumere anche Murray per il tour per 150.000 dollari complessivi nell'arco della durata dei concerti. A sleepless Michael Jackson spent his last hours pleading for a dose of a powerful anesthetic, his doctor told police, according to court records unsealed Monday.
For six hours, Dr. Conrad Murray said he resisted -- fearful that the pop star had developed a dangerous addiction to propofol.
Instead, Murray administered the sedatives Valium, lorazepam and midazolam -- five times over six hours. But none put Jackson to sleep, and he continued to demand his "milk," the word the pop star used for propofol.

Murray finally relented and at 10:40 a.m. added the drug to Jackson's intravenous drip, according to the records.

That dose -- mixed with the cocktail of other sedatives in the pop star's system -- was enough to kill him, the Los Angeles County coroner's office concluded in a preliminary toxicology report cited in a search warrant affidavit unsealed Monday in Houston.

These documents address one of the central questions in the Jackson death investigation: What killed him. The coroner's office said in a preliminary report that it found "lethal levels" of propofol in Jackson's system, the records show.

The records also lay out the first detailed chronology of Jackson's final hours-- and reveal Murray's fateful decision to give Jackson the drugs despite his suspicions that the pop star was becoming addicted to them. The narrative is based largely on a three-hour interview Murray gave to Los Angeles police detective two days after Jackson's death on June 25.

Authorities still have not disclosed how Jackson or Murray obtained the propofol, which is typically used in hospitals by anesthesiologists. Another unanswered question is exactly when Jackson stopped breathing. Both are crucial to the criminal investigation.

Police said Murray told them he found Jackson not breathing at 11 a.m. -- a contention that Murray's attorney disputes -- but paramedics were not called until nearly 90 minutes later. During that time, police suspect that Murray made three cellphone calls totaling 47 minutes, according to the affidavits filed last month when authorities sought search warrants for Murray's Houston medical office and storage unit.

In addition, Murray failed to tell paramedics or emergency room doctors that he had administered propofol, a critical omission that calls into question his treatment and could bolster pursuit of an involuntary manslaughter charge, authorities said.

"Michael Jackson was not the usual patient with the usual problems in the usual circumstances," said Murray's attorney, Edward Chernoff, in response to the court records. "Dr. Murray's overriding goal was to try to help him. . . . To place negligence on him simply because he was there, I don't think is fair."

Authorities have sought records from at least five different physicians who treated Jackson as well as pharmacies in Las Vegas and Beverly Hills, but Murray is the only one named in court documents as the target of the manslaughter investigation. Jackson had specifically asked concert promoter AEG Live to hire Murray as his $150,000-a-month personal physician to travel with him to London, where he was scheduled to perform 50 concerts.

At Jackson's request, Murray had been administering 50 milligrams of propofol in the six weeks prior to his death using an intravenous line, according to court records. But after weeks of use, Murray said he tried to wean the pop star off the medication. Murray told detectives that he lowered Jackson's dosage to 25 milligrams and mixed it with two other sedatives, lorazepam and midazolam. Then, on June 23, he administered those two medications and withheld the propofol -- and Jackson was able to sleep.

On June 25, the day Jackson died, Murray once again tried to induce sleep without resorting to propofol, according to the affidavit. He first gave Jackson the three alternative sedatives at 1:30 a.m., 2 a.m., 3 a.m., 5 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. But Jackson remained awake.

Finally, "after repeated demands/requests from Jackson," Murray relented and gave Jackson 25 milligrams of propofol, diluted with another sedative, records state.

Medical experts said that a 25-milligram dose for someone Jackson's size should not have been enough to kill him. But combined with other drugs, the propofol could have been more dangerous.

"You start giving a lot of drugs and don't know what the final effects might be," said Dr. Scott Engwall, vice chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology at UC Irvine School of Medicine. "When you give a little bit of this and a little bit of that, it starts adding up."

According to the court records, Murray sat at Jackson's bedside for 10 minutes after the singer fell asleep, before leaving to use the restroom for no more than two minutes. When he returned, he found Jackson not breathing and said he immediately began administering CPR as well as a drug to reverse the effects of the sedative. Police said that Murray told them that Jackson had stopped breathing about 11 a.m. Murray's attorney disputed that contention.

Police believe Murray made three separate phone calls for approximately 47 minutes beginning at 11:18 a.m, according to records and law enforcement sources. Jackson's staff did not call 911 until 12:21 p.m., police said. Murray's attorney criticized the timeline outlined in the document as "theory, not fact" and disputed the significance of the phone calls.

"Dr. Murray never said 10 minutes. He said he watched him long enough that he felt comfortable," Chernoff said. "Their theory is he . . . goes off to make some social calls and comes back and finds Michael Jackson is dead and is negligent. The implication is that he left the room to make the phone calls. He didn't need to leave the room to make the calls."

Chernoff declined to say why Murray did not immediately tell paramedics and emergency room doctors that he had given Jackson propofol.

Deputy Chief Charlie Beck of the Los Angeles Police Department would not comment directly on the warrant other than to call it "true and accurate." He said the investigation is ongoing and that the findings would be forwarded to county prosecutors who will ultimately determine whether to file any criminal charges.

The Los Angeles Coroner's ruling means the 50-year-old King of Pop's personal doctor Conrad Murray is now the prime suspect.

Murray has admitted giving Jackson more than FOUR kinds of painkillers on the night he died.
After Jacko first complained he could not sleep at 1.30am, the doctor gave him valium, according to search warrant details.

Just half an hour later the singer was still complaining of insomnia, so Murray injected him with another sedative called lorazepam.

When that failed, he administered ANOTHER sedative - called midazolam - at about 3am on June 25.

Over the next few hours Murray - who had treated Jackson's insomnia for six weeks - gave various other medications to help him drop off.

But at 10.40am, he caved in to the Thriller star's pestering and issued the knockout dose of propofol, usually used as surgical anaesthetic.

Jacko was later found not breathing in his bedroom at a rented Los Angeles home. He had suffered a fatal cardiac arrest.

As the tragic timetable emerged the doctor, 53, claimed the allegations were based on "police theory".

He also denied claims that he had left Jackson after administering the drug.

The doctor's lawyer, Ed Chernoff, said: "Much of what was in the search warrant affidavit is factual.

"However, unfortunately, much is police theory. The timeline reported by law enforcement was not obtained through interviews with Dr Murray, as was implied by the affidavit."

The probe into Jacko's death is still ongoing. Under US law homicide is not necessarily murder and can include manslaughter. Murray has been twice interviewed in connection with the death.

Last week he defended himself on YouTube, saying: "I told the truth and I have faith that truth will prevail."

Warrant papers filed in Houston, Texas, show Murray admitted giving the singer 50 milligrams of propofol nightly via a drip into his veins.

The doc told officers he feared the dad of three was getting hooked and said he tried to wean him off it.

Although Murray admits giving propofol, officials found no evidence he bought it with his medical licence.

But cops who raided Jackson's mansion did find EIGHT bottles of propofol plus other vials and pills prescribed to the star by Murray, skin specialist Arnie Klein, and another doctor, Allan Metzger.


Other drugs confiscated in the raid included valium, tamsulosin, lorazepam, temazepam, clonazepam, trazodone and tizanidine. Tamsulosin is used to treat an enlarged prostate. Propofol was also found in Murray's medical bag. He told detectives he was not the first to give Jacko the drug.

At least two unidentified doctors gave him propofol in Germany between March and April 2009.

Murray is already the target of a manslaughter probe by LAPD cops. Authorities have also asked for records from other medics including Klein, Metzger and David Slavitt, who conducted the medical examination for Jacko's O2 gig promoter AEG.

The Sun told last week how cops were closing in on Murray. US sources claimed he would be charged with manslaughter within two weeks.

And the warrant information last night backed up The Sun's exclusive reports on Jacko's leaked autopsy.

We revealed the King of Pop's stomach was empty when he died apart from partially-dissolved pills he took before the final jab.

The Jackson family last night said it had "full confidence in the legal process".

peró é anche vero che non ha ucciso una persona "qualunque" ma MJ, cioé uno dei personaggi piú famosi che ci siano stati negli ultimi 30 anni ! Non credo che se la possa cavare con poco altrimenti si scatenerebbe un gran polverone (fans, media ecc), secondo me lo puniranno come si deve.
